Help/Systems opens new division to support Germany & Switzerland


To accommodate the huge growth of the System i European user community, Help/Systems, the leader in software solutions for the IBM® System i™, is opening a new division, Help/Systems International GmbH based in Zurich, Switzerland in September.

The office will provide sales, technical support and technical services in Germany and Switzerland, as well as supporting existing customers based in the region from all over Europe.

By working with its local partner IBV Informatik AG, Help/Systems International will support all local customers directly through its Swiss office, honouring existing support contracts. They plan to use this new base to expand operations in Germany and Switzerland and into Eastern Europe. Initially, both IBV and Help/Systems staff will run the office.

With the rate of international consolidation of System i (AS/400, iSeries) systems accelerating, Help/Systems is responding to demands from customers to provide the best products and high-quality support services around the world, as well as offering support to data centres with geographically diverse teams.

Both Help/Systems and IBV will be contacting all local customers directly over the phone, via email and in writing.

Over the coming months, Help/Systems will be adding services, such as free workshops, web conferences, and more, already enjoyed by its other European customers to the services it provides local customers. Help/Systems will also offer a much broader and more flexible approach to licence management and support for international System i users, as well as incentives for companies worldwide to benefit from the huge range of System i solutions provided by Help/Systems.
