message data manipulation capabilities. Data filters allow you to display
exactly the information you need. You can use the filters shipped with
Robot/CONSOLE, or create your own specialised filters. Using XML files you can export and import Robot/CONSOLE objects (such as message sets, message
centers, message queue monitors, etc.), to another system or partition to reproduce your message monitoring environment.

it finds a problem. Robot/CONSOLE then uses all its powerful automation
capabilities to react to the situation, either by executing a procedure or
sending a message to an expert. You’ll never again have to check resources
manually or write your own program to perform a check.
Robot/CONSOLE—Monitors
System Logs Effortlessly
Robot/CONSOLE monitors system logs to help you
manage FTP requests, the security audit journal and the system history log (QHST).
By actively monitoring these system logs, you can see at a glance who executed
an FTP transaction, who modified a system value, or the number of objects that
were not saved in the most recent backup. A logged event can trigger
Robot/CONSOLE automation to handle the event.

Untiring Assistant
Robot/CONSOLE does not let you miss an
important message. It makes sure you see the messages you need to see right
away. If you’re not available, Robot/CONSOLE sends the message to someone
else. If that person isn’t available, it passes on the message until it finds
someone to respond. Use Robot/ALERT and you need never miss an iSeries event

Assistance Language (OPAL), to create message processing procedures. OPAL can
check the contents of message variables and decide the actions to take. It can
execute commands, call programs, cancel the job, or call an expert for help.
